Abbondanza is Italian for “abundant,” and that describes the evening we’ve put together for you. Abundant food and drink,
abundant live entertainment, and a chance to enjoy the company of an abundant crowd!
Benefiting United Way and Junior Achievement - Join us there on Saturday, May 31, 2008, 6-11 p.m. The party happens at the beautiful Ohio Building - 672 Ohio Street in Terre Haute, Indiana. Each floor will be a party in itself. Take your pick or experience all three. Tickets available at United Way of the Wabash Valley or may be ordered by downloading the order form.
- On the Rooftop - "Life's a Beach" - Put on your Hawaiian shirt, grass skirt and flip-flops while you enjoy the sounds of Isalnd Breeze, the band that rocked the Roof at last year's Abbondanza! Island Breeze will be live from 7-11p.m.
- In the Loft - "Rockin' the Night Away" - Take a trip to Margaritaville, R.O.C.K. in the USA and Get Down Tonight as the Shoes and Strings rock the night away. The Brown Eyed Girls, Susie Q's and Honky tonk Women will be inspired as the Shoes and Strings Play that Funky Music live from the Loft of the Ohio Building. This great rock and roll party band from Terre Haute will play all your favorite cover songs, plus more! Shoes and Strings will be live in the Loft from 7-11p.m.
- On the Main Floor - "The Big Easy" - Enjoy the blues and soulful sounds of Governor Davis & the Blues Ambassadors, a 4-piece blues outfit, injected with a healthy dose of soul, R & B and rock influences. Known for its feel-good music, tastefully spiced with a little humor and a lot of fun, their live performances are audience-interactive shows! Governor Davis is gettin' it on the main floor from 7-11p.m.
In addition to the party, we offer "Food on Every Floor" - Your ticket price includes delectable food donated by some of your favorite restaurants. Enjoy the treats at Abbondanza and thank the restaurants later with your patronage.
Silent Auction! - What item will be worth fighting for in a bidding war? Our generous donors have contributed unique items for you to try to take home.

Tickets can be purchased at the United Way of the Wabash Valley office by calling at (812) 235-6287 or download, fill out and mail order form.
Tickets are $55/person.
